Recrystallized Silicon Carbide (RS-SiC) is a non-oxide ceramic produced by sintering ultra-pure silicon carbide powder at very high temperatures without sintering additives or binders. During firing, SiC particles bond through vapor-phase recrystallization, forming a porous but strong ceramic structure with excellent thermal and chemical stability. Its low density and exceptional thermal shock resistance make it a go-to material in high-temperature, corrosive, and heavy-duty industrial environments.
